ترجمة الآية 88 من سورة Al-hijr - English - سورة الحجر : عدد الآيات 99 - - الصفحة 266 - الجزء 14.
﴿ لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيۡنَيۡكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[ الحجر: 88]
﴿ ترجمة: لا تمدن عينيك إلى ما متعنا به أزواجا منهم ولا تحزن عليهم ﴾
Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers).
English - Sahih International
Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers

(15:88) Do not even look at the worldly wealth We have given to different people from among them nor grieve at their condition. *51 Leave them alone and attend to the Believers.

*51) That is, "Do not grieve that they consider you as their enemy, though you .are their sincere well-wisher; that they regard their vices as their virtues; that they are not only themselves following but leading their followers on that way which inevitably leads to destruction: nay, they are doing their worst to oppose the reformative efforts of the one who is showing them the way of peace."
