ترجمة الآية 75 من سورة Ghafir - English - سورة غافر : عدد الآيات 85 - - الصفحة 475 - الجزء 24.
﴿ ذَٰلِكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَفۡرَحُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَمۡرَحُونَ ﴾
[ غافر: 75]
﴿ ترجمة: ذلكم بما كنتم تفرحون في الأرض بغير الحق وبما كنتم تمرحون ﴾
That was because you had been exulting in the earth without any right (by worshipping others instead of Allah and by committing crimes), and that you used to rejoice extremely (in your error).
English - Sahih International
[The angels will say], "That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently.

(40:75) (They will be told): 'This is because while you were on earth you took delight in untruth and exulted in it. *104

*104) That is, "You not only followed that which was untrue and false, but you became so enamoured of the untruth that when the Truth was presented before you, you paid no heed to it, but continued to exult in yow worship of the falsehood.
