ترجمة الآية 56 من سورة An-Nahl - English - سورة النحل : عدد الآيات 128 - - الصفحة 273 - الجزء 14.
﴿ وَيَجۡعَلُونَ لِمَا لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ نَصِيبٗا مِّمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡۗ تَٱللَّهِ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمۡ تَفۡتَرُونَ ﴾
[ النحل: 56]
﴿ ترجمة: ويجعلون لما لا يعلمون نصيبا مما رزقناهم تالله لتسألن عما كنتم تفترون ﴾
And they assign a portion of that which We have provided them unto what they know not (false deities). By Allah, you shall certainly be questioned about (all) that you used to fabricate.
English - Sahih International
And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent.
Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(16:56) These people assign shares from Our provisions to those, of whom they know nothing. *48 , *49 By God, you shall most surely be called to account about the falsehood you had forged.

*48) They assign shares to those patrons about whom they have no authentic knowledge that God has made them His partners and allotted some duties of Godhead to them and made them governors of some territories in His Kingdom.
*49) That is, "They set apart a portion of their incomes and land products to make offerings of this to their patron. "
