ترجمة الآية 55 من سورة Az-Zumar - English - سورة الزمر : عدد الآيات 75 - - الصفحة 464 - الجزء 24.
﴿ وَٱتَّبِعُوٓاْ أَحۡسَنَ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَكُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ بَغۡتَةٗ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَشۡعُرُونَ ﴾
[ الزمر: 55]
﴿ ترجمة: واتبعوا أحسن ما أنـزل إليكم من ربكم من قبل أن يأتيكم العذاب ﴾
"And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Quran, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!"

And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive,

(39:55) Follow the best *72 of what has been revealed to you from your Lord before the chastisement suddenly comes upon you without you even being aware of it.'

*72) "To follow the best aspect of the Book of Allah" means that one should carry out the Commands Allah has given and refrain from what He has forbidden, and learn lessons from what He has brought out in the parables and narratives. As against this, the one who turns away from Allah's Commands, indulges in the forbidden things, and dces not heed His admonitions, follows the worst aspect of the Book of AIlah, i.e. that aspect which the Divine Book has declared as the most evil.
